i have now officially seen myself in a wedding dress.
surrounded on 3 sides by mirrors. on a pedestal.
and i wasn't entirely weirded out. however, it did take me a while to feel like i wasn't just a 10 year old girl playing dress up.

my mom came to visit this weekend- we went to moncton to get some ideas for dresses to see what types we like, and get some ideas for what supplies mom will need to order to make my dress. some were nice. some were enormous contraptions that weighed at least 20 lbs. the entire process is a cross between exciting, frustrating, and mostly just slightly odd.

You're the person who's been a part of me since we met. You're the person with whom I could always be exactly who I am: no sugar-coating, or beating around the bush. No fake appearances. Feel the Connection

Phones, and internet and TV, oh my!
Finally got myself all connected and sorted out- and managed to avoid dealing with Aliant altogether.
After a lovely 4 day weekend, I'm back to work tomorrrow. Lenny was back to work yesterday, as Joey's had it's re-opening night tonight, after the "renovations" from the fire. Carolyn and Andrei are back in town, which means I have friends again.

Also, if anyone knows of an apartment for rent or sublet in Halifax please let me know, because Andrei is on the hunt.

This week will mostly consist of sleeping in [working 11am-7pm] and cleaning.
