Homeward Bound

after 12 days in the daintree rainforest way up north, we're back in sydney. i'll tell all the big stories later.
for now- we've got 2 more days in Oz, then over to Tai Pei for 3, then home. I'll be back in Canada for the July 1st celebrations, but I'll be in NB for a few days with lenny's family first. Will let everyone know when I hit halifax- because you're all going to party whether you know it yet or not.

where the sun shines all day long.

lenny and i are now in cairns- northern australia. yesterday we hitch-hiked to brisbane [took about 10 mins to get a ride half-way, then only waited about 3 mins for the second one] then flew to cairns. now it's 30 degrees every day, and we spent the afternoon lounging pool-side at the new hostel. it was sad to leave byron- went through a lot there with a lot of great people. but it was time to move on.
