I've had a few very welcome reliefs lately.
One being kelly, kurt, doug, and clem coming to visit me a few weeks ago. a lovely taste of home.
why can't we all be neighbours again? I'll bike down the bay road and we'll have picnics on the beach rocks.

Last night Jill and Sarah came to visit in sackville.. to the right you'll see a few shots from our Halloween escapades in Sackville. As it turns out, wearing head-to-toe leather in a hot crowded pub all night is not the best idea.

It seems to me that October is just a month full of overwhelmingly bad news.

All my love to everyone who is suffering, grieving, and adjusting right now...
I'll be driving to Fredricton for a funeral on Friday. Lenny's mother passed away this morning, after a long battle with lung cancer. Although we knew it was coming, it's been a difficult road; as no one wants to see someone they love suffer.
It seems suiting that it's raining.

i'm making a winter coat!

no more cold sackville winters for me. i'm going to be warm and cozy. mmmmm.
it's going to be made with green corduroy, and chocolate brown fur inside for the lining... my apartment is covered in bits of fur. fake of course- like teddy bear fur.
it's going to take me a lot of teddy bears.

I'm so fed up with red tape this week.

So far I've made 4 appointments for different things; all of which required several visits or phone calls to determine who to even talk to in order to book the appointments, and all of which will likely require more follow-up afterwards.
I'm stuck working nights at Moneris for the next week or so, which means that all the Admin people are gone home, so I have to email and wait for answers the next day.
And apparently, I may get stuck working Christmas day because I was not informed I should have already booked my vacation time, and Moneris schedules people on statutory holidays when not enough people volunteer. [not "if"; "when".]

Hopefully I will be able to get some days off over Christmas, or else I will miss the last chance for Sarah [whom I have not seen in 2 years] to meet Lenny before the wedding.
